Video
"Love Lives Here" is a short film made for The Pines of Sarasota Rehabilitation and Senior Care Community to celebrate their 70th anniversary. The story follows a young girl planting a pine sapling and then growing old with it as lifelong friends. I created the character designs and illustrations for the video. The animation was done by Billy Merritt, and sound by Syring Music, all a part of a team with MagnifyGood. “Love Lives Here” won three Addy’s.

INITIAL SKETCHES
The initial character studies. Based on client feedback, a more “nymph” like look was desired, so designs were revisited.
CHARACTERS AND COLOR STUDIES
Once the new designs were approved, we tried several different costume and color options.
BACKGROUND STUDIES
Quick color studies were made of the backgrounds using a limited palette.
